ABOUT ME

Outside of work, I love traveling with my family. I also enjoy vintage fashion, art, poetry, photography, and amateur filmmaking. I am an adoptive parent and am also part of a blended family. These experiences offer incredible gifts as well as unique challenges, both of

which broaden my perspectives on and enhance

my understanding of the vast

complexities of relationship dynamics.

I acknowledge we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present. I honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe. I acknowledge my role as a white settler on these unceded ancestral lands, and in recognition of this, I pay monthly rent to the Duwamish Tribe.

MY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

For three decades I have worked privately and in
schools and community agencies as a licensed psychotherapist,
a certified school counselor, a behavioral consultant,
a case
manager and a vocational rehabilitation specialist;
I have led
therapy groups and facilitated parenting workshops, and I have
developed skill building programs for adults, adolescents and children.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and hold a master's
degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling from the
University of Washington. I attended Western Washington
University for my undergraduate work, which focused
on Psychology and Special Education.
