Family can be a great source of strength, but
also a source of stress and heartache. Learning to understand ourselves within the context of family and/or the systems within which we operate is key to personal well-being and optimal functioning. Family or systems therapy can help build or reinforce a family or group foundation, in order to ease functioning, decrease conflict, improve communication, and enhance mutual understanding and support. Family therapy can be helpful for navigating a crisis or any difficult or painful experiences. It can also be very useful for addressing long-standing relationship issues or interpersonal conflicts.
As a therapist, my goal is to help you to heal, to achieve clarity, to uncover your true potential, or to find the answers you need to take your life in the direction you want. Using the therapeutic approaches that best fit your needs and goals, we will work together to help you process trauma experiences or grief, or to identify unwanted behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
